What A Hoot!! We had a great turn out for the Barn Bash and had a great time yucking it up. Check out the pictures! Also we kicked off the Great Logo Chase that night with this clue: "Go where Salem is sad, because they are copy cats you will be glad." The answer to that clue is Salem Blue Printing down town. The next clue is there! Head down town and find the Cross Road logo, but on the way, know that the Lord will have you encounter people and He desires all to come to salvation. Share your faith!

"..but these things are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name". This "life" is a quality of life you can not have outside of being saved by and then walking closely with Jesus Christ. This life is not religion, it is an intimate relationship with the Creator of the universe. This life is not rebellious, it continually desires what our God desires for us. This life is not weak, it is full, vibrant and powerful for this life is Spirit led... This life?... looks exactly like the word of God describes it, so at The Cross Road we will value and lift high His perfect word. We look forward to enjoying this life with many of you.
The Cross Road ministry is for ages 18 - 24 years old and meets at 6:30 pm Tuesday evenings at Salem Heights Church. If you have any questions or desire more information, please contact Matt MacCollin at 503-588-0403 or e-mail him at mattm@salemheightschurch.org

“The Cross Road” ministry exists to provide discipleship and fellowship for those ages 18 –24. The purpose of the ministry is to proclaim the word of God… Encouraging those in the faith to walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him in all respects as we spur each other on in love, while also proclaiming the good news to those who are lost, desiring to see them saved and brought into fellowship. Colossians 3:17 says “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” At the cross roads in life, our desire is to see the lost come to salvation and all believers continue on the straight and narrow path already laid out for us in Christ.
The group consists of about 30 – 50 young adults with a staff of about 9 adults… And yes… We have a lot of fun! We are excited to kick off Tuesday September 8th at 6:30 pm in the chapel for our first official evening of the new Fall ministry year.
